Well...it's official. Jan has left W.E. for Johannesburg to continue with his studies for a few months. He did say that he would be back and I hope he stays true to his word. Jan was a great asset to Wild Earth. I will miss his silly nature and infectious laugh. I wish you luck Jan and hurry back!
Alex is on leave...making quite the trip this time. He promised to drink some good Norweigan beer for me while he is back home. Safe travels Alex!
More updates: Peiter is back from his leave, YAY! Rexon is feeling better or so it seems. Marco has been working hard as usual. The Jika is fixed. Emily and Graham have been around W.E. and on camera a lot more lately. That's been so much fun! I am hoping they are around for the fireside chat today.
And on the homefront...
Lacy had been sick for almost a week. 5 days of a lowgrade fever and no eating. We took her into see the doctor on Tuesday. Ears and throat were fine...so they did a urinalysis and nothing came back funky. So we had to wait it out. Finally on Friday she was eating and the fever disappeared!
Ask Logan how many more days left of school before summer break and you will get an excited cry of "THREE!". He is pretty stoked that school is ending soon. I keep thinking that if he hates school this much in grade one....the next 11 years of school are going to be hell! uuuhhhhgg
Strawberries are out...I want to go picking this afternoon if it doesn't rain! I LOVE fresh berries. I didn't get to pick as many as I would have liked to last year. I probably won't this year either...the kids enjoy going but aren't hardcore pickers like I am lol.
Brent is good, he was on a course all last week. The pets are ok. Miffy the bunny still seems to have eye issues no matter what we do. Ripley is a dork as always....he got into a scuffle with a great dane at the vet last time and we ended up with an extra 30 dollars on our bill because we paid for the great dane to have stitches. *sigh* Dumb dog...
