Where the heck did this whole year go? Really...where?.....it flew by in a blur for me. Or was it just blurry from lack of sleep? lol Ok so they keep doing retrospects on celeb lives......so here is one on mine...brace yourself....here is what I learned or experienced in 2006:
* it's been a year since I have had a full night's sleep and I have lived...I am a little odd now but oh well.
* once you come to accept your child isn't what is deemed "normal" life goes on....we get the help we need and we improve...and any improvement is GOOD!
* Deciding to sell the house right around birthdays and Christmas is NEVER a good idea.
* Deciding to reno flooring over Christmas is NOT a good idea either
* Family is good....they drive you nuts.....you want to shake them (insert mom here) until their heads fall off or atleast until they get the point.....but in the end they are family and you love them.
* No matter what they do...how they act....what sort of things they pull out of their noses and wipe on your shirt.....your kids are precious gifts. Appreciate them.
* In choosing between childbirth and wisdom tooth removal...I would take childbirth again thanks. Atleast the pain was over in a few hours.
* I have learned life is too short to beat around the bush....say what you want to say.
* A LOT can happen in a year....people change....we change....its all about change. Good and bad.
* And most importantly...when going out for a night on the town....wear underwear because you just dont know who is lurking with a camera....and just how many millions of people may see your beaver....... :p
