Happy Birthday Babygirl!

Well it was yesterday offically....but still! My "baby" is three! Can you believe it? I certainly can't. It really only seemed like yesterday that she was an infant. Now...in less than a year she will start Junior Kindergarten. Almost makes you want another one....almost but not quite! lmao

She had a good party too. We just had family over and it was a good time. She got a lot of presents. She got a styling doll head thingy from us, a blue betta fish from her brother. She got a pink bird house from Bumpa, an Only Hearts Club doll and outfit for the doll and a tea set from Gramma and Bumpa. A beautiful Christmas dress from Nana. Two dress up outfits, shoes, purse, pretend jewelry and some barbie magnets from my mom. A Wiggles microphone, Wiggles guitar and a big Wiggles picture from Uncle Gord, Aunt Fen and Kurt. Even her little boyfriend Mannan from the bus stop got her a set of Princess pencils and a hair tie kit! Can you say awwwwwww! lol My dad out in PEI sent her 50 dollars! So she still has that to spend. My sister and the girls couldn't make it due to weather tho. That part sucked.

Here is the cake I did for her. I was pretty impressed with it since it was my first fairly involved cake with fondant. I had covered cakes before and done circle cutouts etc but nothing this fancy. PLUS I made the fondant this time! Everything is edible on here except for the inside of the towers...they are empty paper towel tubes. The kids thought it was neat to be able to take off a cone and fill it with icecream to go along with their cake...well ok my father in law loved that idea too! lol He is just a big kid!
