Farewell Marco!

Well we are losing yet ANOTHER Wild Earth crewmember. Marco has been with WE for 3 months and from the moment he was in front of the camera, he was an instant fit! His charm, humour, vast knowledge of all things bush related and that smile will be missed sorely!

Marco is headed to the Kalahari for a while and hopefully he gets to play with some meerkats and report back to me! lol I hope that he has many adventures in film making while he is there. I certainly hope that he drops in to Djuma again in his travels or keeps in touch via facebook. WE is losing a very talented man both in front of the camera and behind.

Safe Travels Marco!!

With Marco's departure, WE have taken on two new faces. Pete and Herman. Herman has already impressed us with his camera skills and will be taking over the Weekly Bits that Marco had been doing. Pete will be in the FCC and directing. Pete is an engineer by trade and is very happy being able to play with all of the big boy toys he has at Djuma. (Might add that I LOVE his Dutch accent) So....welcome to WE Herman and Pete!!

lol It seems like they come and go fast lately. Some only last a month because the location IS so remote. Others end up with other offers in the wildlife filming or research industry and move on.

Sucks though...just when you get to know one of them well...off they go lol.

I guess you need to go and fill one of their spots, then.
