Well the Mini Funk Contest over at ScrapForums is finished and judged...and the winner is.......Not me! lol It was Gretchen (known as GMac in the scrap world to most)...the person I thought was going to win because her work is amazing!!! I did however manage to get Runner Up though lol Not too shabby considering the awesome work that was submitted over the past month and a half or so. I love SF's contests. The last two I have been in have been Funk contests and it's right up my ally since I have an eclectic style of scrapbooking. (Read into eclectic as I dont have a style I randomly wander and do as I please lol) So congrats to Gretchen for winning the paper round of that contest...you ROCK G!!!! My fav LO I did is posted at the top here...has a mini book in that arrow....we had to use a line from that Dixie Chicks song Not Ready to Make nice.
I have no idea what's going on for today...I was going to go strawberry picking but yet again my mom said she cant go today and says tomorrow. I am betting money she wont go tomorrow either. I am so angry...she hasnt seen my kids in over 2 months and she lives 15 mins away. Anyhow I think we are going to invite Brent's parents out with us this afternoon to pick. They enjoy our outtings with the kids. We always go apple picking with them as well in fall.
I might be back with some kewl macro shots of juicy berries if we go! lol Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!!!
