Ok it's HOT out today...whew. I was kinda hoping my sister would want to go shopping this afternoon so we can get out of the heat and into the AC of the stores. OH well....she had better want to go tonight because I need to get Brent a present from the kids for Father's Day.
Finished my final layout for the Mini Funk over at ScrapForums. Again dunno if I really love it but oh well its done. I have a feeling I am not going to win anyhow so I am not sweating my submissions anymore. There are a couple scrappers in that contest that are amazing and one of them will more than likely take the win. I can't wait to see who it is though!!! I had fun doing all the challenges this month. Maybe my mojo will come back and I will get some work done. What I really SHOULD be doing is altering a book for my dad. Might have to go to A Scrapbookers Dream to go get myself a chipboard album to do up for him.
So what else...oh YEAH! Big ass news on my sister. She and her dh won their settlement with the military and they got a huge chunk of change! Like HUGE...like they wont have to work huge....this is on top of the veterans money that they are already getting. So man they are all set. Age 30 and 26 and they are retired. lol So anyhow they are looking at buying a century home out in the country by Port Dover. I haven't seen it yet but they are moving then end of the month so I should have pics to post later. Apparently its BIG. 10 acres of land as well. So holy crap eh! lol

Good for her to get that settlement. I know how hard it is...my mom just settle with ICBC after almost 8 years for her car accident. Although she didn't get all that much after paying the lawyer. LOL
