Update on life in general

Well...I just posted my very long winded W.E. post so I guess I should update on the fam too. lol

Logan has passed the first grade and will be going to grade two in the fall! YAY!! Of course, the second last day of school he gets clocked up the side of the head at the bus stop with a cricket bat. Accidentally but those kids shouldn't have had the frigging thing at the stop anyhow let alone be swinging it around when there are 20+ kids running around waiting for the bus. So we went back home...iced it and gave him some Tylenol and walked to school. Here is a picture of his shiner.

We had a good Canada Day this past weekend. We went to Brent's parent's house for a BBQ and then off to the park for some rides and fun. The only thing I have to say about that is SARDINES...and rude ones at that. The place was PACKED. I am thinking I may head down to my sister's maybe next year. Less mayhem and rude idiots.

The kids loved the rides they did manage to go on though. Lacy finally this year was ok with the fireworks. YAY! Good thing we did watch them from Brent's parent's lawn though because she got bored and chilly so she watched from the front window for the last little bit.

What else....not much....going to be going down to a small cottage my mom rented in a couple of weeks for a few days. Right on the beach! YAY! Should be fun! That's about it for now.
