Another great day in Djuma

Seriously, I know I must drive people I know crazy with my talk of South Africa but I can't help it.

Today was a particularly exciting day! We started off with fantastic sound coming from the Gowrie cam. Pieter had been out fiddling with it a bit when a new friend happened by. He has been named Onetenga by Pieter. Pieter loves his ellies. Then not 20 minutes later we were hot in persuit of leopard. Rexon's keen eye spotted Saseka laying near her kill. (she is finally hunting on her own without her mother) She was a pretty full and content kitty when the boys found her. We then had a giraffe come and hang around at Gowrie for a while and ran into Onetenga again. And just as I had begun to worry that we hadn't seen Wonky in a while...BAM there was wonky at the crest of a hill. With Humgo the hippo below. We spotted rhino in the distance but couldn't get very close to them as they were in some deep bush. Then at Gowrie our resident Dugga boys (cape buffalo) came in for a wallow in the mud so we had 4 of the big 5 today!

And much to my excitement Pieter held true to his word and finally stopped to take time to climb that torchwood he has been wanting to sit on for a long time. He stepped up very nicely to my challenge of "taking a moment". And then Pieter decided to be a bit silly and well...you will see the picture. I love these guys! Rexon did the same (climbed a tree) for me yesterday. And Motheo is also quite the thoughtful person as well...he was nice enough to email me and let me know my question was being answered next and he announced on the break as well that Pieter had gotten my question and will get to it as soon as they cut back. :)

Anyhow here are some screenshots I got.
And WELCOME BACK ALEX!!!!!!!!!!
