Well apparently Pieter is under the weather with a touch of the flu or so the rumour around the Wild Earth community says. Marco...the newest addition to the W.E. family...is taking us out on the PM drive today. Good Luck Marco!! (I will be back to post any interesting bits of info later) And I hope you feel better soon Pieter!! Rest up, I will have plenty of on cam questions for you when you get back lol.
Oh and if you follow W.E. at all, you will know about the whitetail mongoose that has been a regular on cam for the past few drives. Well Alex has had the privilege of naming the little guy...so now W.E. welcomes Mojo the Mongoose! Well done Alex.
I just went up one notch on the geek meter last night. I downloaded a program to capture video and save it. Yes I will be one of those youtube posters if I get the hang of piecing together and editing my captures.
I have been totally enjoying the W.E. online community that Graham has set up for the fans of the cam. It's so exciting to meet other WE'ers and be able to discuss the drives as they are happening, talk and learn about various animals, bug Graham with endless questions regarding W.E., discuss photography and talk about conservation and wildlife issues. Only problem is now I have two blogs to keep up...like one isn't enough to ignore right? lol
Well...it is almost drive time and as much as I can multitask, with this new video capture thing I am trying I can only have that one window happening while recording. So I am off to South Africa! See you in a couple of hours! lol
