Another Djuma drive

Another awesome start to the night drive. As I sat on the phone talking to my sister I almost got whiplash as soon as I heard Pieter say "Uuhh" and I knew he had spotted something. I was so excited to turn back to my computer and see this pretty little girl:

Shortly after seeing the leopard (I totally missed her name. I am trying to learn the names a lot of the regulars to Djuma have been given by the guides etc), Pieter and Jann came across a herd of six white rhino. Amazing! The female is apparently in estrous and there are some males starting to follow her around and get her attention. Wouldn't it be an amazing sight to see, two males battling for the mating rights of the female. The screenshot is dark...they were just going to get read for the night infrared part of the drive so it was fairly dark at the time.

Well, back to the drive I go...it is still not quite finished as they have just turned the infrared camera on. Hopefully Pieter can manage the spotlight tonight...sorry to hear he injured himself. Wonder what happened. Anyhow...cya...may be back with more screenshots later.
