A lot has been happening as of late and it's been a rough couple of months. For those who were wondering if I disappeared from boards etc...I haven't. I just haven't really wanted to be on.
We have had two suicide attempts in the family (not immediate family dont worry), a couple of cancer scares, one terminal cancer diagnosis (very close friend of my Dad's since they were kids ), came very close to losing a friend in Afghanistan on Monday. It's just been one hell of a couple of months.
My friend just lost her grandfather this morning.....
Things finally are looking up though. We found out that by some miracle that my friend Chris was not injured in Monday's blast that killed another Canadian soldier. Unfortunately his friend and comrade was the one killed. There was some silver lining in that cloud.
My son was released from his speech program at school and will no longer have to meet weekly with the pathologist. And he will be attending a regular grade one class next year! YAY! I am still worried about teasing etc. though.
