We took possession of the house yesterday! We went there last night and had a McDonalds picnic on the floor. The kids were pretty excited! Mostly I think because the house echos bad and they thought that was great fun! lol
So off we go today to buy a bunch of crap we need. New filters, fridge seal, tile and grout sealer for the shower, paint and painting supplies, another carbon monoxide detector for upstairs...hmmm what else...a bunch of crap anyhow.
Flooring auction was postponed until next week.....grrrrrrrrrr Dh took the day off and everything and it was moved. So next week we will get the floor and hopefully Dan can have it down that weekend. Because we move officially on the 29th. Gives him 9 days to buy supplies and put the floor in.
I think the first room I will tackle is Logan's. He is the one who I am worried about making the transition the most in the move. So making his room special is an important thing. Lacy's is pink already. Only thing I have to do in her room is to redo the trim and door because they painted EVERYTHING pink and it's a bit much.
Anyhow...off to get the kids dressed and take them over to the new house.

Sounds like the new digs are keeping you busy...
Congratulations on the house. Ours is slowly dragging it's way to completion. Drywall is up and we are currently trying to decide on interior & exterior paint colors...
